Riverdale Nursery is a family-owned and operated Retail and Wholesale Nursery and Landscaping Business with more than 50 years of experience in the beautiful mountains of Avery County, NC.
Riverdale is third generation owned that started 1954. The Nursery is owned and operated by Tim and Angie Benfield, along with their sons Josh and Jordan.
We are dedicated to providing you – our neighbors, friends, communities and local businesses – with Beautiful, High- Quality Plants and Expert Services at very competitive prices.
We specialize in container-grown ornamentals and offer several hundred varieties of both Retail and Wholesale, Flowers, Plants, Evergreens, Trees and Shrubs. Additionally we offer Large- Scale Landscaping Services, Hardscaping, and Landscaping Consultation.
Each year beginning in November we also sell our locally grown NC Frasier Fir Christmas Trees.
